Yalda Night with Persian Bazar Theme
The Iranian Society of Queensland would like to invite each and every one of you to celebrate Yalda with us, for the first time being held in our very own community center and its surrounding parklands.
21 Dec 2015, 6pm to 9pm, ISQ Building
This festival will have a Persian Bazar Theme, which will include a variety of sections and stalls, including a Traditional Persian Tea House, an Art Gallery, and food stalls (Kabak & Ash will be for sale).
As Persian hospitality dictates, you will be served with a variety of Persian Pastry, tea and watermelon (the traditional fruit to have on this occasion), all complementary of course; and as far as entertainment goes, you can experience Persian music and dance as well. ISQ’s Community Library will also be officially opened on this night.
Tickets for the general public are $20 per person and for ISQ members are $10 per person.
